FAQ
Hopefully this site is clear and informative enough to answer any questions you might have!  This page should fill any gaps, but if not, feel free to call or e-mail - I'm always happy to help.

Can I see a product before buying?
I have tried to give a good representation of what you are buying throughout this website, but am aware that it is not the same as seeing the product in real life.

My work is available in a number of shops and galleries - see here for details - and they might be worth a visit if you are in the Newcastle Gateshead area.  I am also happy to have visitors to my home office (by appointment only!), but please note that I only keep limited stock on the premises.

I do offer a full money back guarantee if you do not like what you have bought, so long as it is returned in the same condition you receive it in.

Are other print sizes available?
In theory I can produce a print at any size.  However, there is an upper limit beyond which quality will be compromised, and this will vary from shot to shot depending on what camera I used to take the shot.  Please contact me to get a quote for a size not shown on the site.

Are other frame styles available?
Yes.  I am happy to source a different frame style if you do not like any of the options shown on the site.  If you want to match a frame style you already have, feel free to send a photo of it, or, if you are local, bring it to show me.

Can I have any print on canvas?
Yes.  All prints on the site are available on canvas.  See the canvas section for examples and prices, which shows some, but not all, options.

How can I pay?
1 - By card, online
2 - By cheque, PayPal, or direct bank transfer - contact me for details
3 - By card over the phone

Do you have other work not shown on the site?
Yes!  Particularly for the North East, for which I have lots of other shots not shown.  Please contact me if you want other options, or if you are looking for something specific and can't find it on the site.

What equipment do I use?

I use a Canon 5D digital camera, with a range of professional 'L series' lenses. These include 17-40mm wide angle, 24-105mm zoom, 100-400mm zoom and a 24mm tilt-shift lens.  I use Lee filters.

Do I alter my photos in Photoshop?
I do make minor adjustments using Photoshop - usually just to remove dust, adjust contrast, crop etc.  I occasionally fix barrel distortion and perspective, and do make use of the HDR and tonemapping technique.

Generally I prefer to get a photo right in-camera, rather than spending hours altering it in front of a computer.
